8-Channel GEN3 RFSOC Algorithm Verification and Evaluation Board
The IW‑RFSOC‑47DR/48DR is an algorithm evaluation board based on the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZU47DR master chip, which integrates high‑speed ADCs and DACs internally. It supports multi‑board cascading and offers a COTS solution that leverages the advantages of RFSoC while more efficiently offloading data and reaping the benefits of commercial off‑the‑shelf components: users can achieve rapid deployment while enjoying lower total cost of ownership, lifecycle support, and simplified future technology upgrades. The product supports eight 14‑bit ADCs at 5.0 GSPS and eight 14‑bit DACs at 9.85 GSPS. It reduces the complexity of RF signal‑processing chains, maximizes I/O channel density without compromising wideband performance, and harnesses heterogeneous processing capabilities—all while delivering lower power consumption by eliminating discrete ADC/DAC components and removing interface‑related FPGA‑to‑analog power dissipation. The Zynq UltraScale+ device integrates an ARM Cortex‑A53 processing subsystem, UltraScale+ programmable logic, and the highest signal‑processing bandwidth available, enabling a comprehensive RF signal chain that meets the demands of wireless communications, cable TV access, test and measurement, and other high‑performance RF applications.
